The Pet House becomes available at Town Hall level 14 in CoC and it allows players to unlock and upgrade new Pets.
As you upgrade your Pet House to higher levels you will be unlocking new pets, each with distinct abilities.
What does the Pet House do in Clash of Clans?
The Pet House building in Clash of Clans unlocks unique pets that can be paired with your Heroes (Barbarian King, Archer Queen, Grand Warden or Royal Champion) to provide additional support in battles.
Pet House in Clash of Clans has these four major functionalities:
- Unlock new pets
- Assign pets to specific heroes
- Upgrade pets using Dark Elixir
- Change pet-hero pairings in the Army preparation menu
As of now there are total 10 pets that are introduced at different levels of Pet House. Please note that you are allowed only one pet per hero in Clash of Clans.

Best Hero Pets pairing in Clash of Clans
Many Clash of Clans pairs look for ‘the best Hero and Pet pairing’. But i will advice you to experiment with different pet-hero pairings. If you still want then here is my favourite Pet-Hero pairing that always wins me battles:
- Mighty Yak with the Barbarian King for improved tanking.
- Unicorn with Archer Queen for constant healing.
- Electro Owl with Grand Warden for additional air support.
- L.A.S.S.I with the Royal Champion for jumping over walls and cleaning the base.
I will advice you to balance pet upgrades with hero upgrades so that they can compliment each other.
