1. Tanners Lane, Lymington - If a secluded beach is your cup of tea, then Tanners Lane "secret beach" is definitely for you! With amazing views out to the Isle of Wight, this quiet, serene location is great for sunbathing and water sports!

2. Highcliffe - This beach is both a mixture of shingle and sand! There are lifeguards on duty in the summer, to give you some peace of mind when the little ones are paddling in the sea! It's also only a 5-minute walk from Highcliffe, which boasts some great shopping and lunch spots!

3. Durdle Door - Well, Durdle Door is certainly something of an icon. People come from all over the country to see the magnificent natural limestone arch, which was formed when the power of the waves eroded the rock and forged a hole through the middle. And right next door is an amazing sandy beach! The perfect place to have lunch and take in the doors beauty!

4. Milford on Sea - Milford on Sea is a beautiful beach that actually boasts TWO great beaches! The horde cliffs is a large shingle beach which houses some beautiful multi-coloured beach huts! There's plenty of space to chill with the kids and picnic. And make sure to check the tide times for the famous sand-bar which appears most evenings!
