Local Festivals 2018!

There are so many amazing music festivals¬†around the UK, but let’s face it: festivals are expensive! If you want that happy festival vibe that you get from Bestival or Glasto, but without the hefty price tag why not give these local festivals a try?

V Dub at the Pub - 22nd-24th June
This is definitely one for the VW enthusiast. A weekend of local musical talent along with some amazing VW restorations being shown! There's fun for all the family from paddle-boarding on the River Stour to games which everyone can take part in like tug of war and "welly-wanging"! Tickets can be purchased through the website, and you can also camp! A perfect setting to take your van and have a boogie! Day ticket prices starting from only £6!

Party in the Paddock, Wimbourne - 8th-10th July
Party in the Paddock is a three-day family orientated music festival held in the paddock at Deans Court over the Wimborne Minster Folk Festival weekend. There's a great mixture of Pop and Rock bands to pleasure your ears and fun for all the family! Day ticket prices starting at £10!

Milford on Sea Music Festival - 16th-22nd July
You could say that Milford is a sleepy town, quietly beautiful with its idyllic beaches and quaint cafes. However, for one weekend in July, Milford "wakes up" and hosts an amazing Music Festival. With an impressive array of local bands ranging from rock to classical, the whole village gets involved offering local beers and delicious local food! It's completely free to attend as well!

Stompin' on the Quomps, Christchurch - 4th August
An amazing festival showcasing the best in Jazz talent from the South Coast. Set in the beautiful town of Christchurch, explore what Christchurch has to offer with stands from local bars making delicious home-made cocktails and stalls offering some shopping as well! It's a very popular day out so grab your picnic and get down there early to secure a good spot!

Lymington Seafood festival - 11th-12th August
The gorgeous seaside town of Lymington hosts this amazing seafood festival! With live music and over 80 food and drink stalls, there's definitely something for everyone! Of course, the main attraction is the delicious seafood, but don't worry there is plenty of other delights to try, from espresso Martinis made by the guys at "The Coffee Mongers" to our very own new Forest Gin from Dancing Cows distillery. There will be some amazing local musical talent performing over the course of the weekend and added bonus: it's completely free to attend!
