How to Tell if Inferno Tower is Single or Multiple? (2024) Easy Best Method

It is really easy to tell if an inferno tower is single or multiple. All you have to do is look at the top. You will see either a circular hole or a pentagonal hole.

If the fire flames are coming out from a circular hole then the inferno tower is set to single. If the fire flames are coming out of the pentagonal hole then the inferno tower is set to multiple.

Why does it matter if inferno tower is single or multiple?

During the clan war league or simple clan wars, you can check the opponent base before attacking to see if inferno tower is single or multiple. You can click on the inferno tower info tab and see if the damage type is the single target or multiple targets.

Your whole strategy can change depending on this one single fact.

A Single target inferno tower will lock on just one troop and instantly roast it down to the ground within seconds.

A Multiple target inferno tower will lock on all the troops that come in its range. It will damage them accordingly but will have lower damage power as compared to a single target.

inferno tower is single-or-multiple

On paper, you might think multiple target inferno tower is better as it can attack several troops. However, a single target inferno tower is deadlier and can easily defend a base if not handled carefully.

A Single target inferno tower will start burning troops with 105 damage per second; which will go up to 2300 damage per second in 5 seconds. This means even high hitpoints troops like Pekka, Lava Hound, and Electro dragon can’t withstand the high heat of the inferno tower.

How many inferno towers can you have?

You can have a maximum of 3 inferno towers on your base. You unlock two inferno towers at Town hall 10.

Your third inferno tower is unlocked at town hall 12.

How do you beat single target inferno towers?

Since a single target inferno tower deals more damage than multiple target inferno towers therefore people often wonder how they can beat a single target inferno tower.

There are several ways to deal with an inferno tower. You can use the zap attack where you will take out one inferno tower using a light spell.

Usually, most people have one inferno tower set to single and one set to multiple. You can strike a lightning spell on a single target inferno tower.

Here is a chart on how many lights spells you will need to take down a single target inferno tower

Level Town Hall Lightning Spells ZapQuake (Light Spell+ 1 EQ)
1 10 3 2
2 10 4 3
3 10 4 3
4 11 5 4
5 11 5 4
6 12 6 4
7 13 6 5
8 14 7 5

This strategy fails miserably at higher town hall levels especially when the base is loaded with eagle artillery and scattershot. In such a situation a freeze spell can help a lot.

You can freeze the single target inferno tower whenever a powerful troop like electro dragon or Pekka or queen comes in its contact. This will make it easy for your troop to take down the inferno tower easily.

You can also use Bat spell to overwhelm the single target inferno tower. If you strike a light spell on it, the zap will reset the inferno tower thereby bringing down its damage per second back to 105.

However, My favorite of all these methods is – Siege machine.

Almost all siege machines can do good damage to a single target inferno tower.

All you have to do is launch the machine near the single target inferno tower. The deadliest among the siege machines are the log launcher and Flame flinger.

Both the siege machines can take down a single target inferno tower without even coming to its contact.

Troops like bowler and electro dragon can also give good competition to single target inferno tower but you have to play carefully.

How much does it cost to upgrade a Level 1 Inferno Tower?

Inferno towers are costly buildings. You unlock them by spending 2 million gold. After that, each upgrade increased by 1.5 million gold (min.).

An Inferno Tower can fire 1000 rounds and it needs to be reset after that. It resets automatically once you start the game. However, if you haven’t played the game for a while then your inferno tower is likely to be burnt out.

Clashers love such bases where inferno tower, X-bow, and eagle artillery are inactive whereas mines, collectors, and drills are filled with resources. Ummmmm Yummy.
